Website Monitoring Services That Catch Problems Before Your Visitors Do
A site that goes down is obvious. The failures that cost you customers are the quiet ones — a form that stops sending, a checkout that breaks, a page that drops out of search. Monitoring keeps watch so those failures surface in hours, not weeks.
We monitor uptime, performance, security signals and the silent visitor paths — and we report what we find, every month.

1,000+ represents websites served cumulatively, not current actively monitored sites. 2 hours means initial response on business days, not a fix time or 24/7 service.
What Website Monitoring Services Include
Monitoring is a layer of automated checks that never sleeps. Each one answers a specific question about your site, so you are not relying on a customer to tell you something is wrong.
Uptime and downtime
Regular checks confirm the site is reachable. If it stops responding, an alert is raised immediately instead of waiting for a visitor to complain.
Performance and Core Web Vitals
We track real load times and Core Web Vitals over time, so gradual slowdown is visible before it starts costing you conversions.
Security and tamper signals
We watch for signs of unwanted changes, unexpected redirects and other tamper signals that often precede a wider problem.
Form submissions
A synthetic test submission confirms your contact or quote form still reaches its destination — so a broken form does not sit unnoticed.
Checkout and orders
For stores, we watch the order path and flag early signs that a payment step has stopped completing.
Search indexing
We check that your key pages stay indexed, and that nothing is accidentally blocked from search after a change.
The Failures That Cost the Most Are the Quiet Ones
An outage announces itself. A broken form does not. Here is the difference between what you notice and what monitoring catches.
You notice a site that is down
When the whole site is unreachable, someone finds out fast — often a customer, not you.
You do not notice a form that stopped sending
The page loads perfectly. The visitor sees a thank-you message. The enquiry simply never arrives.
You notice a slow page when you use it
But a page that gets 20% slower every month feels the same on any single visit.
You do not notice a page silently dropped from search
A misconfigured change can de-index pages without any visible error on the site itself.
Monitoring exists to turn these quiet failures into visible, dated alerts — so they are found on our side, not on your customer's side.
What Monitoring Can and Cannot Do
Monitoring is a strong safety net, not a magic shield. We would rather set the boundary clearly than let you assume the wrong thing.
What monitoring does
- Detects outages, errors and slowdowns on a fixed check interval
- Tests visitor paths that fail without an error message
- Raises an alert as soon as a threshold is crossed
- Keeps a dated record of what was checked and what was found
- Feeds a monthly report so you can see the site's real state
What monitoring does not do
- Guarantee a site will never go down or be attacked
- Replace a person deciding what to fix and how
- Fix the problem by itself — repair draws on your plan's hours
- Watch for things it was not configured to watch
- Substitute for a firewall, backups or security hardening
Important: Monitoring shortens the time a problem stays invisible. It does not remove the need for a plan that covers the response and the fix.
From Alert to Fix
Detection is only useful if someone acts on it. Monitoring connects to a defined response path, so an alert becomes a fix — not another unread notification.
1. Detect
A check fails or crosses a threshold, and an alert is raised.
2. Triage
We filter duplicate alerts and confirm whether it is a real incident or noise.
3. Respond
We act within the response commitment in your plan, isolating the issue first.
4. Record
What was found, what was fixed and what remains — written down and reported.

What You Receive From Monitoring
A dated check record
Every check and every alert is logged with a timestamp, so there is a factual record of the site's behaviour — not a vague assurance that "it was checked".
A monthly report
You get a short report: what was monitored, what was caught, what was fixed and how much of your plan's hours were used. If nothing went wrong, the report still shows what was verified.
Monitoring that reports to you every month — so "nothing happened" is visible work, not silence.
Silent Failures Are What We Catch
A site that goes down is obvious. The failures that cost the most are the quiet ones. A contact form stops sending. A checkout breaks for one payment method. Pages quietly drop out of search. Speed slips a little every week. Nothing crashes, so nothing shouts — the leads just stop.
That is the failure mode we watch for. Alongside uptime, we monitor the signals that go silent:
Form submissions
We test that your forms still reach their destination, so a broken contact or quote form does not sit unnoticed for weeks.
Checkout and orders
For stores, we watch the order path and flag signs that a payment step has stopped completing.
Search indexing
We check that your pages stay indexed, and that nothing is accidentally blocked from search after a change.
Speed and Core Web Vitals
We track real performance over time and flag gradual decline before it starts costing you conversions.
And You Hear About It Every Month
A maintenance plan should not be a silent invoice. Every month you receive a short report: what we updated and checked, what monitoring caught, what we fixed, and how much of your included hours were used. If nothing went wrong, the report still tells you what was verified — so “nothing happened” shows up as visible work, not silence.
You Own Your Site. Always.
Your domain, your hosting account, and your code belong to you. A maintenance provider should never be the only one holding the keys.
Your assets stay in your name
Domain, hosting, and site files remain yours and under your control. We work with your access — we do not take ownership of it.
A clean handover if you leave
If you move on, the agreement sets out how access, files, and credentials are returned. We do not hold your domain, and we do not charge a release fee.
This is written into our agreement, not just promised on a page.

Website Monitoring FAQ
What does website monitoring actually watch?
Uptime and downtime, response times and Core Web Vitals, security and tamper signals, and the visitor paths that go quiet without crashing — contact forms, checkout, and search indexing. Monitoring covers detection across all of these.
Is someone watching my site around the clock?
Monitoring runs continuously and automatically. It is not a person staring at a screen every minute — it is a set of checks that raise an alert when a threshold is crossed. A human then triages the alert and acts on it.
How long does it take to notice a problem?
Checks run on a fixed interval, so a failure is flagged as soon as the next check fails — not days later. Detection is near-real-time within the check window; the response time depends on the plan and the severity of the issue.
How will I be notified when something breaks?
Alerts are routed to the agreed channel — email, and where you prefer, a messaging channel. We consolidate duplicate alerts so one incident does not turn into a flood of noise.
Does monitoring include fixing the problem?
Detection and alerting are included in every plan. The fix draws on the engineering hours in your plan, and major recovery work is quoted before we proceed. You always know what is detection and what is billable repair.
Can monitoring stop an attack or a hack?
Monitoring surfaces signals and shortens the time a problem goes unnoticed. It is not the same as a firewall or a full security service, and no monitoring can promise a site will never be attacked. Where needed, we combine it with security hardening.
Do you monitor sites you did not build?
Yes. Monitoring does not depend on who built the site. We connect it to your existing domain and services, using the access you already own.
Can I get monitoring on its own?
Yes. Monitoring can be a standalone service or part of an ongoing maintenance plan. Many clients start with monitoring to see the site clearly, then move into a full maintenance plan.
Do you watch my site 24/7?
Monitoring runs continuously, but people do not. Alerts fire at any hour and are queued; human response, triage and fixes follow the stated business-day commitment. We state this plainly rather than implying round-the-clock staffing, because a 2-hour business-day response and a 24/7 staffed desk are very different products.
Monitoring Tools Alert. Someone Still Has to Act.
Monitoring tools are cheap, reliable and easy to install. The part that is neither cheap nor automatic is what happens after an alert fires.
The honest split: software is better at watching — it never sleeps, never forgets, and costs little. People are better at deciding — is this a real outage or a false positive, does it need an immediate fix or a scheduled one, and who is accountable if it is missed. A monitoring subscription without someone to act on it produces alerts, not protection.
What software does well
- Continuous uptime and response-time checks
- Alerting on errors, certificate expiry and changed files
- Recording history, so patterns become visible
- Costing very little compared with human hours
What a person adds
- Judging whether an alert is real or noise
- Deciding what to fix now and what can wait
- Doing the fix, and verifying it actually worked
- Being accountable when something is missed
- Telling you what changed and why it matters
We are explicit about one boundary, because it is where providers tend to blur the truth: monitoring runs continuously, but people do not. Alerts fire at any hour and are queued; triage and fixes follow our stated response commitment on business days. If you need genuinely staffed round-the-clock response, that is a different and more expensive service, and we will say so rather than imply it.
