Terms of Service

These terms explain how our services are delivered, billed and ended, and what we each commit to. They sit alongside any service agreement you sign.

Last updated: 9 October 2026. These terms cover your use of this website; a signed service agreement governs the details of any service you buy.

Who We Are and What These Terms Cover

Our services are provided by Beijing Maizhe Network Technology Co., Ltd., trading as Maizhe Network.

By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. Where a signed service agreement sets a specific term — scope, fees, service levels or notice — that agreement takes precedence over this page for the engagement it covers.

Services and Scope

What a plan covers is defined before work begins, so there is no ambiguity later.

Usually included

  • Updates, backup checks and monitoring review
  • Basic security maintenance and routine changes
  • Issue intake, troubleshooting and reporting
  • Work within the included hours of your plan

Separate scope, quoted first

  • Redesign, migration and large one-off projects
  • Custom development and new integrations
  • Malware removal and full recovery work
  • Anything beyond your included hours

Nothing outside the agreed scope is started without a written quote and your approval. See Plans & Pricing for the plan structure.

Plans, Fees and Billing

Fees are set out in writing before work starts, and billed as agreed.

Prepaid and monthly

Plan fees are prepaid each month in US dollars. You may authorise recurring payment through an agreed method such as bank transfer.

Beyond included hours

Work past your monthly hours is billed at the agreed overage rate, or handled by moving up a plan — whichever you prefer.

Refunds where agreed

If you prepay annually and cancel within 30 days, the unused difference is refunded. A setup fee is refunded in full if work has not started.

Current prices and included hours are listed on Plans & Pricing and confirmed in your agreement.

Client Responsibilities and Access

A clear division of responsibility is what makes the service work.

What we need from you

  • Access granted through the agreed secure method — never by pasting passwords into messages
  • A single point of contact for scope and approvals
  • Prompt notice of changes on your side that affect the site
  • Written confirmation before new scope begins

How we handle access

  • Least-privilege access, limited to the sites in scope
  • Your accounts stay in your name and under your control
  • Access revoked or rotated when the work or agreement ends
  • Details on Security & Website Access

Service Levels and Limitations

We commit to response times and a process. We do not commit to outcomes that are not ours to control.

What we commit toWhat it means
Initial responseOn business days, the target is 2 hours for prompt matters. It is an initial reply, not a fix time, and not a 24/7 commitment.
A defined processStaging and verification where it matters, backups checked before risky changes, and a record of the work.
Written scopeWork outside your plan is quoted and approved before it starts.

We do not guarantee search rankings, conversion outcomes, uninterrupted availability, or that a website will never be attacked. Any provider that promises these is overstating what can be controlled.

Intellectual Property and Ownership

Your website stays yours. We keep only what is ours to keep.

Yours

Your domain, hosting account, site content, and the work we produce for you — which becomes yours once it is paid for. We do not hold your domain, and we do not charge a release fee.

Ours

Our pre-existing tools, templates, internal processes and know-how remain ours. Where we use them in your service, you receive the benefit of them without owning them outright.

This matches what we say elsewhere: your site belongs to you, and a provider should never be the only one holding the keys.

Liability and Disclaimers

We set this out plainly rather than hiding it in small print.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for doing the work we agree to, with reasonable skill and care, and for the process commitments in your agreement. Details of any financial limit on liability are set out in the signed service agreement.

Outside our control

We are not responsible for third-party services, hosting outages, platform changes, or losses caused by factors beyond our control — including risks we warned about and you chose to accept.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Which law applies to these terms, and where a dispute would be handled.

Governing law

These terms, and the services we provide, are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Where a dispute is handled

Where a dispute cannot be settled between us directly, it is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Beijing, China. A signed service agreement may name a different forum for the engagement it covers.

Our registered office is in Beijing, and that is where disputes are handled unless your agreement says otherwise. See Contact Us for our registered details.

Changes, Suspension and Termination

Both sides can end the arrangement, and both sides can expect a clear exit.

Term and notice

Plans run on an initial three-month term, then month-to-month, ending on the notice period set out in your agreement.

Suspension

Service may be paused where fees are unpaid or where work would be unlawful or unsafe. You will be told why, in writing.

A clean handover

On ending, access is revoked and anything we hold is returned or removed on a defined path, at no release fee.

These terms may be updated; the version that applies to a live engagement is the one in your signed agreement.

Terms of Service FAQ

Do these terms apply to a service I buy?

These terms cover your use of this website. Services themselves are delivered under a separate signed service agreement, which sets out the specific scope, fees and service levels for your engagement. Where the two differ on a service matter, the signed agreement governs.

What is the contract term for a maintenance plan?

Plans run on an initial three-month term, then month-to-month, with a defined notice period. The exact term and notice period for your plan are confirmed in writing before work starts.

How does billing work?

Plan fees are prepaid monthly in US dollars. You may authorise recurring payment by bank transfer or a similar agreed method. Work beyond your included hours is billed at the agreed overage rate or handled by moving up a plan.

What are my responsibilities as a client?

Provide workable access through the agreed secure method, give us a single point of contact for approvals, keep your own accounts under your control, and confirm new scope in writing before it begins.

Do you guarantee a specific outcome, like rankings or zero downtime?

No. We commit to a defined process, to response times set out in the agreement, and to work that is staged and verified where it matters. We do not guarantee search rankings, or that a site will never be attacked or interrupted.

Which law governs these terms, and where would a dispute be handled?

These terms and the services we provide are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Where a dispute cannot be settled between us directly, it falls to the competent courts in Beijing, China — unless a signed service agreement names a different forum for that engagement.

Who owns the website and the work done on it?

You own your domain, hosting account, site content and the work we produce for you once it is paid for. We retain our own pre-existing tools, templates and processes.

How can the agreement end?

Either side can end it in line with the notice period in the signed agreement. On ending, access is revoked, and files, credentials and accounts in our holding are returned or removed on a defined path.

Questions About These Terms?

If something here is unclear, ask before you engage. We would rather answer a question now than have a misunderstanding later.
